Yarns & Yarns "ISHMAEL: An Adventure of the Mind and Spirit."
Sometimes a book finds you. When this happens, it will catch a person off guard. What is a book doing "finding" a human? Well, this is not a typical book. In fact, I don't know what this is. I suspect it is a virus.
Ishmael is a book with a mind of it's own. When this book decides to find you, it would be wise to pick it up immediately. If you happen to make the regretful choice of not picking it up when it first finds you, Ishmael has a way of persisting, showing up over and over.
Regarding this book, I wish this was the only warning needed. It is not. The title says a little bit about "an Adventure." Maybe this should be cleared up. Reading Ishmael is like downloading a virus. Once it is there, in your mind, it grows. It shows up in ways you might not expect, good, bad and everything in between. Why might I say this? The answer is that it is simple to read and yet, complex overtime. Life on this planet is multispecies. We have an impact on ourselves, other species and the planet as a whole. What we do and what we do not do, matters.
